JDG Industries World Headquarters

This was something I just kinda fell into. Posted on Facebook Marketplace; right thing, right time, right place, right price. What I now call "The Homestead" renovation project, even if it couldn't be much further from a "homestead" without being a McMansion, but its home. |

The Warehouse is the storage locker I have a bunch of stuff in. First acquired in September of 2015, it was a direct result of having to move out of "The Hatchery" after the (now) ex-wife took off. |

I knew when I bought it, it was far from perfect; but I had delusions of grandure of being able to live inside a renovation project. But the trailer was so far gone by the time I bought it, It basically required being torndown to the frame and rebuilt. Would have been perfect for me, but lacked space for even one kid to visit muchless all 5. And after Becky died, there was no way I could live there anymore. |

A residence I was forced into... I made the bedroom light-tight so I could get sleep during the days for work. And added several personal touches. Its also the first place I considered the "JDG Industries World Headquarter". Only reason for leaving was the hope of having more space to build things. |

The Hatchery at Fernwood

The "Hatchery" is called such because its where four of the kids were made, and the house they came home to. Very little got done here, but it started a lot of things in my life. It was this house where the whole idea of starting a foundry was born. When the (now) ex-wife left, her stepfather gave me an eviction notice for the house. That was fine, I never really was happy there anyways. The plans for a garden railway and my little hobby workshop in the shed was all that meant anything to me. |
